Accounting Assistant - Hiring Immediately

We are in search of a diligent and meticulous Accounting Assistant to join our team in Fostoria, Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for various accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable, bookkeeping, and supporting financial statements. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:
• Accurately process customer credit applications
• Maintain precise customer credit records
• Resolve customer credit inquiries in a timely and efficient manner
• Monitor customer credit accounts and take necessary actions to collect delinquent payments
• Utilize accounting software systems to maintain financial data
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable tasks
• Perform bookkeeping duties and support the creation of financial statements
• Ensure all entries are submitted within specified deadlines
• Use Microsoft Excel and other Office Suites for various accounting functions
• Handle cash activity and billing functions as needed.• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Familiarity with Great Plains (GPAC)
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites
• Ability to perform various Accounting Functions
• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP)
• Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Familiarity with Billing Functions
• Experience in managing Cash Activity
