Title: Accounting Assistant

Location: San Dimas

Pay: $17-18/hour, based on experience

Part-time hours, Contract to Hire (perfect opportunity for a college student or fresh graduate)

3 days/week (10am-4pm)

MUST HAVE QUICKBOOKS EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED

We are hiring an Accounting Assistant, who is looking to grow their accounting knowledge and skill. The ideal candidate is a college student with Quickbooks experience. We are open to training. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with entry-level accounting experience to gain valuable hands-on experience

Responsibilities:

• Assist with bookkeeping tasks by performing data entry in Quickbooks

• Assist with month-end closed responsibilities such as financial statements

• Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies on a regular basis.

• Assist with accounts payable.

• Work closely with Accounting Manager to research and resolve any issues or discrepancies

• Assist with HR responsibilities if necessary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

• Proficient experience with QuickBooks software is required.

• Knowledge of Shopify Analytics and Reports a PLUS.

• Understanding of basic accounting principles.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work collaboratively with the Accounting manager in a team-oriented environment.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Pay Details: $17.00 to $18.00 per hour
