Job Summary:

The Accounting Associate will play a vital role in the finance department by managing accounts payable and receivable, maintaining the general ledger, and handling payroll processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Accounting Associate Responsibilities:
Process and verify invoices for payment as well as ensure timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices.
Generate and send out invoices to customers while also following up on overdue accounts and collections.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely.
Handle employee inquiries regarding payroll.

Accounting Associate Qualifications:

Bachelors degree preferred
2+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
In office Monday-Friday
8am-5pm
$57-$62k
