Accounting Associate

to join their dynamic team.
Position responsibilities:

Perform all levels of client work including accounts payable, payroll, customer invoicing and account reconciliations with a high degree of accuracy, meet multiple client deadlines, and keep managers well informed of daily/weekly status.
Develop understanding of clients’ business environment, concerns and unique needs, communicate with clients and colleagues in a professional manner, and foster trust and maintain excellent client relationships.
Balance deadlines for multiple clients at the same time.
Identify and create goals to enhance skills and subject matter expertise.
Use firm provided training options to stay current on GAAP and develop accounting proficiency in industry areas served.
Become technically adept in all software used to service clients.
Qualifications:

1+ years of accounting experience preferred
Bachelor's degree in accounting
QuickBooks, Unanet or Deltek Experience is desirable
Government Contracting industry experience is desirable
Proficiency with Excel, MS Teams, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook is preferred
Strong attention to detail is essential
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
