Accounting Associate - Greenville, VA

Description

We are currently searching for an accountant to join our accounting consulting services team for local governments in Virginia and Tennessee.  The consulting services group of RM focuses primarily on assisting localities in areas such as:

• Audit readiness
• Financial management assistance  
• Internal controls 

Requirements

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• Strong working knowledge of Excel

Preferred:

• Governmental accounting or audit experience
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Effective written and oral communication skills

Work Location:  

• Greenville, VA 
• Remote work may be an option 
• Minimal travel

Job Types:

• Full-time and part-time positions available

Salary:

• $25 to $40 per hour, commensurate with experience
