Accounting Clerk

Glaz-Tech Industries is a locally owned, wholesale glass manufacturer and supplier of construction & specialty glass across 7 states.

We are looking for an organized, efficient Accounting Clerk to fill an on-site part-time position. The clerk will work alongside our Finance and Accounting team.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00

Schedule: Office is open 8 a.m.- 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, the Accounting Clerk will be required to commit to 24 - 30 hours a week

Candidates must be eager to learn, be responsible and have an interest in growing in the field of accounting. Although previous experience is not required, we are looking for candidates that have or are currently taking accounting, management and communication courses. Those with previous office and accounting experience will be preferred.

Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:

* Classification and implementation of accounting codes for products and services rendered at all Glaz-Tech locations.

* Verify authenticity of incoming invoices and purchase orders. Requires communication with location office managers, CFO, and vendors.

* Assisting the Finance Director with entry of daily deposits, credit card processing, payroll, and communication with office managers regarding accounts.

We are located next to the airport.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Authorized to work in the US
• Background Check/Drug Screen
