ACCOUNTING CLERK

Job Title: Accounting Clerk

Job Type: (Remote)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our team at Jonesbororealtycompany. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting and financial tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our company. This is a full-time position with regular business hours.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks

- Processing invoices and payments accurately and in a timely manner

- Reconciling bank statements and credit card statements

- Maintaining accurate and organized financial records

- Assisting with month-end and year-end financial close processes

- Preparing and posting journal entries

- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes

- Communicating with vendors and clients regarding payment and billing inquiries

- Providing support to the accounting team as needed

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred

- 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Excellent time management and organizational skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
