ABOUT THE ROLE

Seeking an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk to enter vendor invoices, verify invoice details, code invoices to the proper general ledger accounts, and pay vendors accurately & timely. The AP Clerk position will help maintain financial records, reconcile vendor accounts, resolve discrepancies, assist in maintaining good vendor relationships, while complying with financial policies. This is a full-time position and is based at the Corporate headquarters in Saginaw, Michigan.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

• Review, verify, and process vendor invoices


• Match purchase orders and invoices for accuracy


• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and reports


• Process sales tax credits


• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Required Work Experience: Work experience as Accounts Payable Clerk

• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles


• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records


• Data entry skills along


• Proficiency in English and in MS Office


• Customer service orientation and negotiation skills

Additional Requirements:

• Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.

SHIFT: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm 

PAY: $20 - $22 per hour
