Position Summary:

The Accounts Payable Clerk plays a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of accounting information by adeptly managing a variety of AP responsibilities. This role will collaborate with the accounting and data analysis team under the supervision of the Assistant Controller for a productive partnership.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities would be as follows:

  • Coordinating all AP activities, from processing invoices, mailing out checks and setting up      ACH payments for payment
  • Coordinating and managing the vendor master files to keep everything running smoothly
  • Identifying Capital Projects and fixed assets and tracking activity on same
  • Managing and implementing the ACH conversion for current vendors paid by check
  • Managing the electronic filing of all AP related information
  • Assisting the Assistant Controller with Daily Cash Management when needed
  • Supporting other accounting projects that may arise during the process
  • All other accounting duties and responsibilities as assigned
  • Managing and supporting the Mod AI implementation and daily management of the software
  • Reviewing and managing all activity within the Mod AI system

Requirements

 Key Competencies

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of prior AP experience.
  • At least 2 years of MS Office and general office experience.
  • World-class communication skills 
  • Reliability and willing to work as a team.
  • Ability to multi-task and set priorities 
  • Sound business judgement and discretion
  • Exceptional technological skills and ability to understand and learn software systems
  • Bonus points for experience in collections.
