Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, and assisting with various accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

- Process invoices and maintain accurate records of all financial transactions

- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable

- Prepare and process payroll

- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures

- Monitor and maintain inventory records

- Prepare financial reports and assist with budget planning

- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding billing and payment inquiries

- Assist with other accounting tasks as needed

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or related field

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software

- Excellent organizational and time-management skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
