ACCOUNTING CLERK

Position: Accounting Clerk

Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality work and exceptional customer service to our clients. We are currently seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our growing team.

Position Overview:

As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial records of our company. You will be responsible for accurately recording and processing financial transactions, preparing and analyzing financial reports, and providing support to the accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions

- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements

- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions

- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures

- Communicate with vendors and clients to resolve any billing or payment discrepancies

- Provide support to the accounting team as needed

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred

- 2+ years of experience in an accounting role

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)

- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles

- Excellent organizational and time-management skills

- Detail-oriented and able to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
