We are hiring an Accounting Clerk for one of our clients in Phoenix, AZ.
Job Description:
In this role, you will assist the IT Accountant and County Accounting Specialist in preparing various types of financial system documents, primarily capital/fixed asset documents in the County's financial system.
- Provides excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and a persistence to solve problems in a timely and professional manner.
- Performs accounting tasks including, but not limited to, entry of general ledger journal and capital/fixed asset documents.
- Prioritizes and resolves issues from internal customers in a timely, complete, and professional manner.
- Performs short term data analysis and researches and resolves discrepancies.
- Works closely with team members to complete financial documents, as required
Experience required:
- Experience Two years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
Experience Preferred:
- Our Preferred Candidate has
- Experience in a preparation of financial system documents, such as journal voucher and capital/fixed asset documents.
- Experience in procurement processes, specifically vendor invoice payments.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office and Outlook experience
Education Required:
- Education High School diploma or GED.
Education Preferred:
- Combined education and experience qualifications other combinations of education and experience may be considered in substitution for the minimum qualifications
