Job Description - Accounting Clerk (In-Person)

We are looking for an Accounting Representative to lead efforts within the accounting, bookkeeping, and financial realm of the organization. This role will focus on preparing reports, reconciling bank statements, handling communications with vendors, client, and internal departments. In addition to leading the management of the database utilized and involved with system configurations for improvement. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data and financial acumen, strong business ethics, and technical expertise to drive improvements and efficiencies in our systems and reporting processes.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

High School diploma or equivalent (required)
Minimum of 3 years’ experience with proven experience in an accounting role or similar
NetSuite ERP experience (required)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
Familiarity with platform selection processes for operational tools
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Maintain a database, ensuring that records are complete and current
Research and resolve discrepancies
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
Preparing financial documents, reports, or budgets
Reporting information to managers or other personnel
Verify accuracy of records and financial information
Responding appropriately to a vendor, client, and internal requests
Analyzing budgetary or accounting data
Maintaining confidentiality
Regular and routine onsite attendance

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE

Advanced: NetSuite, Data Governance, Analytical Software, and BI Tools
Intermediate: Microsoft Office Suite, Shopify, Google Analytics
