We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in Memphis, Tennessee. The job function revolves around the financial sector, where the successful candidate will handle tasks such as account reconciliation, data entry, invoice processing, and other general office duties.
Responsibilities:
• Partner with the in-office Bookkeeper to manage escalating duties due to business growth
• Utilize accounting experience and openness to learning more complex Bookkeeping procedures
• Perform bank reconciliation tasks and other accounting duties as required
• Handle general office duties, including typing in proposals, accounts payable and some accounts receivable tasks
• Use QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel proficiently to perform job functions
• Show willingness to learn and develop more skills in Accounting.100% in office (Memphis area) M-F 8-5 Contract to permanent Starts as soon as this week
