Accounting Clerk - Urgent

Accounting Clerk Temporary Opportunity in Atlanta, GA!

$22-$25/hr.

Responsibilities:

• Process invoices, payments, and financial transactions accurately using AP and AR systems.
• Handling accounts payable for separate entities and vendors.
• Analyzing workflow processes.
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors.
• Ensuring bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures.
• Processing due invoices for payments.
• Prepare bank deposits.
• Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges.
• Prepare, reconcile & file monthly sales tax filings.
• Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of AR and AP experience
• Proficient in Word and Excel
• Must be proficient in math skills
• Must be organized and detail oriented
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Must show a strong work ethic and be motivated to learn
