Accounting Coordinator

Kaydon Group is seeking an Accounting Coordinator to join our team. This role plays a key part in supporting day to day financial operations. We are looking for someone detail-oriented, highly organized, and motived to grow with the organization.  

The Accounting Coordinator provides financial and administrative support to the Finance Department, with a primary focus on accounts payable.  This role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to meet strict deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable, including purchase orders, revisions, line-item entries


• Provides key support for payroll during peak times


• Maintain and update various spreadsheets


• Collect and track supplier lien waivers monthly


• Apply knowledge of GAAP principles and general ledger (G/L) accounts


• Assist with audit requests and ensure compliance with documentation standards


• Additional duties as assigned to meet the needs of the business

Qualifications

• Prior experience working in an accounting/finance role within a construction company


• High School diploma or GED


• Exceptional organizational skills, accuracy and ability to meet deadlines


• Proficient in Excel


• Experience with COINS or similar ERP system preferred
