About our property:

Deloitte University Hotel & Conference Center - Benchmark Hospitality
- High-end private hotel and conference center called Deloitte University. Closed to the public.
- 1,400 hotel rooms - all single occupancy, no suites.

What you will have an opportunity to do:

The Accounting Coordinator will ensure that all daily revenue transactions are reconciled and accounted for in accordance with established policies and procedures.  The Accounting Coordinator will also be responsible for the audit and posting of AP invoices for payment processing, as well as the preparation of checks with supporting documentation for signature approval. 

  • This is a full-time position.

  • Payrate: $20.00 per hour.

  • Location:  Benchmark Hospitality at Deloitte University Hotel & Training Center

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that accurate and timely recording of daily outlet totals is recorded properly.

  • Input revenues daily into revenue reports, maintain appropriate support documentation, and notify outlets when discrepancies arise.

  • Clear understanding and knowledge to balance daily credit card postings and reconcile settlements.

  • Ensure proper distribution of daily reports in a timely manner and that all accounting reports are properly filed.

  • Compare POs to Invoices and enter into AP system for payment processing after obtaining management approvals.

  • Ensure that all AR supporting documentation is accurate.  Prepare and send AR invoices for approval.

  • Keep organized and updated records for vendors.

What are we looking for?

Qualifications

  • College degree in accounting or equivalent work experience preferred.

  • Strong computer skills.  Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.  Microsoft Teams experience desirable.

  • Knowledge with a Hotel Property Management System required. Infor experience desirable.

  • Knowledge of F&B Point of Sales systems.

  • Knowledge working with accounting system.  Aptech/PVNG experience desirable.

  • Knowledge of procurement systems. BirchStreet experience desirable.
