Job Description - Accounting Department Coordinator

Are you an experienced accounting professional who enjoys variety in your work? Environment Control is hiring an Accounting Department Coordinator to support a wide range of financial operations across our franchise network.
What You’ll Do:

Coordinate ACA reporting and health benefits setup with franchise staff
Support payroll, taxes, depreciation, income statements, and general ledger processes
Audit balance sheets across multiple franchise entities for consistency and compliance
Verify billing and bank transactions for accuracy
Provide backup support to staff accountants and administrative roles
Assist with Positive Pay, direct deposit processing, and other payroll functions

What You Bring:

Solid experience with ACA, payroll, taxes, and income statements
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and coordinate across multiple teams
Prior accounting experience (multi-entity or franchise experience is a plus)

Education:
Bachelor’s in accounting and/or a minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
