Your New Role

As an Accounting Manager in the Rocky Mount, VA, you’ll lead and support the financial operations that keep our company running smoothly. You’ll work closely with the Controller to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in all aspects of corporate accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
• Reconcile accounts and bank statements with precision.
• Ensure company financials are closed by the 7th of each month.
• Train and manage accounting staff.
• Monitor and maintain expense accounts for accuracy.
• Optimize cash flow by ensuring timely payments for maximum discounts and rebates.
• Support budgeting processes and financial reporting.

• 3-5 years of experience managing corporate accounting functions.
• Strong knowledge of AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger management.

• Accounting degree (preferred but not required).
