Responsibilities
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close: Own the close process end-to-end, driving timely, accurate financials with all journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules locked down.
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations: Oversee AP/AR, prepaids, fixed assets, bank reconciliations, payroll accounting, and ensure general ledger integrity across multiple entities.
- Handle marketplace and SaaS rev rec complexity: Navigate ASC 606 compliance, monitor deferred revenue, GMV, take rates, and reconcile payment processor activity plus sales tax nuances.
- Own tax compliance and audit coordination: Manage multi-state sales and income tax filings, act as primary audit liaison, prepare audit schedules, and coordinate audit responses.
- Drive system and process improvements: Lead accounting system implementations and workflow optimizations to support rapid growth and scalability.
