Matthew 25 AIDS Services is a non-profit healthcare clinic that specializes in the treatment of HIV/AIDS.

Overview:

The Accounting Manager is a critical leadership role responsible for both strategic and operational financial oversight. This position manages the daily activities of the accounting department, including general ledger management, month-end close, and audit preparation, while also providing supervisory support to a small team. The Accounting Manager ensures compliance with financial policies and procedures and supports broader organizational goals through effective leadership and collaboration.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (Master’s or CPA preferred).


• Minimum 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience, including general ledger and month-end close.


• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in team supervision or management.


• Strong understanding of nonprofit accounting and restricted funding preferred.


• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)


• Experience working in a nonprofit organization or a strong desire to work in service driven environment.

• Flexibility, as our services are available to a large geographic area in the state of Kentucky, which may require some travel
