What you'll do:
Lead month-end close, including balance sheet reconciliations and review of journal entries for accuracy and completeness
Oversee intercompany transactions (purchases, billings, reconciliations) and perform deep-dive variance analysis on revenue and COGS
Manage sales/use tax filings and business property tax (571-L) to ensure timely and compliant reporting
Review and approve credit card transactions, employee reimbursements, and vendor payments for accuracy and policy compliance
Partner with cross-functional leaders to enforce financial policies, improve processes, and drive accountability
Strengthen internal controls and identify opportunities for process improvements and automation
Support Controller and Head of Finance with ad hoc analysis, audits, and strategic initiatives
Experience you need to be successful:
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with hands-on experience in multi-entity environments
Strong expertise in balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close processes
Experience supporting or accounting for construction project
Solid understanding of lease accounting under ASC 842
Proven ability to execute and enforce SOPs and internal controls
Experience with systems such as NetSuite, Ramp, and Square (or similar platforms) preferred
Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

The expected salary for this position is $80,400-$120,600. Your actual base compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on considerations including (but not limited to): relevant knowledge and experience for this position, skills, education, certifications and more.
