Accounting Manager

Full-Time Contract Hybrid | Corporate Accounting | US GAAP | Tech Industry Preferred

Overview We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close activities while ensuring strong internal controls and accurate financial reporting. This role is ideal for candidates with Big 4 or public company experience who excel in fast‑paced environments and enjoy driving process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations and internal control compliance
• Review key reconciliations, roll forwards, journal entries, and account analyses
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP
• Maintain and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and documentation
• Support internal and external audit requests; act as liaison with auditors
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to resolve issues and improve workflows

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience in Big 4 and/or public companies
• Experience leading accounting close activities
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to perform manual calculations
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, and prioritization skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA (strongly preferred)
• Experience with NetSuite
• Experience with BlackLine
• Tech industry background
