Nashville Machine is looking to expand their team by adding an Accounting Manager.  The Accounting Manager will be part of the accounting and finance team and will report to the Controller.  The Accounting Manager will be responsible for several transactional processes including, but not exclusive to: billing & collections oversight, sales/use tax reporting, job cost reporting, and various additional monthly reporting and analytics.

Besides working directly with the accounting and finance team, this individual must build strong working partnerships with customers, Project Managers, other internal team members, division leaders, and other key stakeholders. This individual may also be asked to participate in additional special projects within Nashville Machine.

PRIMARY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assists with the general ledger, monthly closing process, and various accounting and finance functions assigned from CFO or Controller
  


• Responsible for Accounts Receivable billing & collection review and oversight.
  


• Responsible for Sales / Use Tax reporting / filing.
  


• Create / report regular financial and job cost reporting to Company Finance, Project Managers, and Executive personnel.
  


• Provide proactive analytics and reporting to improve forecasting, align results, draw insights, and influence action.
  


• Assist CFO and Controller in preparation of audit work papers.
  


• Analyze new metrics/reports, looking for trends and discrepancies.
  


• Make suggestions regarding process improvement.
  


• Perform a variety of accounting and finance duties including reconciliations, assisting with financial analysis, and budgeting.
  

Requirements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Construction and/or Field Service Industry experience
  


• Experience with Viewpoint Spectrum (previous Dexter + Chaney) Preferred
  


• Microsoft Office proficient
  

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate Degree Required ; Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Preferred
  


• 7+ years Accounting Specialist / Manager experience
  


• Focused mindset with technical aptitude
  


• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment within an organization
  


• Excellent oral and written communication skills
  


• Time management skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
