Accounting Manager

PSG is hiring an Accounting Manager to join a growing company with a collaborative team. This is a great opportunity to combine hands-on accounting work with team leadership, partner across the business, and help improve processes. You’ll work on a varied mix of financial reporting, investment activity, audits, and international accounting, with room to make a meaningful impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly close and day-to-day accounting for subsidiary companies.
• Review financial statements, journal entries, account reconciliations, and bank reconciliations.
• Support cash management and oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and employee expense reporting.
• Review investment activity, capital calls, and related account balances.
• Help prepare for quarterly reviews and annual audits by gathering records and responding to requests.
• Make sure accounting work follows company policies, controls, and reporting requirements.
• Maintain local financial records and complete required regulatory filings on time.
• Work with the U.S. accounting team and other subsidiaries to record transactions correctly and resolve intercompany items.
• Guide and support accounting staff, set priorities, and review their work.
• Look for ways to improve accounting processes, use technology effectively, and strengthen controls.
• Assist with special projects and other accounting needs as they arise.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• At least five years of increasingly responsible accounting experience, including reviewing work or leading accounting processes.
• Experience supervising or managing staff preferred.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Strong skills in Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office programs.
• NetSuite experience is a plus.
