Accounting Manager | Global Taxes

The Role:

As an Accounting Manager you will lead client engagements, oversee accounting operations, and deliver high-value fractional Controller and CFO services. You will play a key role in maintaining service excellence, mentoring team members, and driving innovation through technology and process optimization. The ideal candidate is a tech-savvy, efficiency-driven professional with a passion for client service and a strong background in accounting department management. 

Responsabilities: 

Client Engagement & Relationship Management

• Manage a portfolio of outsourced accounting and advisory clients across diverse industries.


• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their business needs and delivering strategic financial guidance.


• Cultivate long-term client relationships through proactive communication and value-added insights.

Accounting Operations & Reporting

• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.


• Conduct financial analysis and prepare financial statements in compliance with GAAP.


• Deliver fractional Controller and CFO services, including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.

Team Leadership & Development

• Supervise, mentor, and review the work of senior accountants and accounting staff.


• Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.

Technology & Process Optimization

• Implement and optimize cloud-based accounting technologies and workflows.


• Continuously improve internal controls and operational efficiencies.

Risk & Compliance

• Identify and mitigate risks in client engagements.


• Stay current with changes in accounting regulations and industry trends to ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing an accounting department or outsourced accounting team.


• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or another related program


• CPA certification preferred


• Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial statement preparation.


• Demonstrated experience providing fractional Controller and/or CFO services.


• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop is required.


• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.


• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.


• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
