We would like an Accounting Manager to join our accounting consulting services team for local governments in Johnson City, Tennessee! 

Can you:

• Prepare complete and accurate governmental accounting services of varying complexity?
• Supervise and mentor staff and provide feedback about job performance and career growth?
• Perform accounting analyses and examine intricate accounting systems?
• Communicate with clients to identify and address their accounting and consulting needs?
• Oversee client relationships which include managing multiple accounting engagements simultaneously, as well as, coordinating the delivery of services?
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all client matters?
• Perform other accounting duties as needed and assigned by supervisory personnel?

Requirements

 Does this list describe your skillset?

• You have governmental accounting or auditing experience working with Counties, Cities, Towns, Boards, Authorities and Commissions 
• You have been working in public accounting with limited growth potential 
• You have excellent communication and supervision skills 
• You have great interpersonal skills and strong attention to detail 
• You are cooperative, enthusiastic, and able to work with a sense of urgency 
• You have a strong working knowledge of Excel
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting
• Valid CPA license and member in good standing with AICPA, a plus
• 5+ years of experience in accounting
