Accounting Manager - MFU - Urgent Position

Muscle Foods USA, a multimillion dollar, fast growing, successful national wholesale distributor of sports nutrition products is seeking a full-time Accounting Manager to join our operation in our Dunmore, Pennsylvania office. Successful candidate will have a 4 year college degree in accounting and a minimum of 4 years prior work experience preferably in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Excellent communication (verbal and written) and solid math skills required. Strong computer skills necessary as this a highly computerized environment.

The responsibilities will include such functions as:

1. Prepare and process daily and monthly journal entries

2. Perform daily bank reconciliations

4. Reconcile balance sheet accounts

6. Resolve vendors payment inquiries

7. Review AP vouchers and post to GL

7. Work with outside auditors in annual financial statement audits.

8. Back up for daily cash receipts posting

9. Assist with monthly vendor chargebacks

9. Managed fixed assets schedule and record monthly depreciation

9. Review and code corporate credit card charges

11. Assist in monthly GL close and financial statement generation

12. Other duties as assigned
