Accounting Manager - Restaurant/Hospitality - Dynamic Team

Accounting Manager needed for a highly regarded company that owns restaurants and other hospitality venues.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accounting records for 4 restaurants using Restaurant 365 compile monthly financial statements and prepare operation summaries & analyses for senior management.
• Prepare & coordinate annual budgets and forecasts for restaurants
• Reconcile monthly revenue between POS system (Toast) and Restaurant 365
• Coordinate with accounts payable - Enter, review and process invoices and checks
• Maintain and process payroll activity, including employee benefits and personnel files
• Coordinate with onsite restaurant managers regarding financial information
• Manage cash positions and reconcile bank accounts.
• Prepare and file monthly IL sales tax reports
• Process payroll for restaurants

Minimum candidate requirements:

• Associate or higher Degree, preferred
• 3 - 5 years of accounting/accounts payable experience within commercial real estate and/or restaurant industries
• Strong organizational and communication skills, orally and written.
• Experience with of Restaurant 365, Toast and MS Office (Word and Excel)
