Accounting Manager/Finance Manager

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager / Finance Manager to lead the accounting and finance function and serve as a key financial partner to our clients. This role will initially focus on financial reporting, month-end close, team leadership, and client relationships, with the opportunity to grow into a broader Finance Manager role overseeing cash flow, treasury, and financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the accounting and finance team, including Senior Accountants, Supervisors, and Staff Accountants.


• Oversee month-end close and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting.


• Review and finalize financial statements, financial commentary, and reporting packages.


• Serve as the primary contact for client financial questions and provide strategic financial guidance.


• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting policies and GAAP.


• Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and team performance.


• Develop weekly cash flow forecasts and oversee treasury and liquidity management as the role expands.


• Monitor cash requirements, AP funding, payroll, and payment execution.


• Analyze financial results and translate data into actionable business recommendations.


• Mentor and develop the accounting and finance team while building a strong culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• 5–7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience with increasing leadership responsibility.


• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, general ledger, and internal controls.


• Proven leadership and team management experience.


• Strong analytical, communication, and client relationship skills.


• Experience with cash flow forecasting and treasury management preferred.


• Healthcare revenue cycle or SNF accounting experience is a plus.
