Job Description - Accounting / Office Administrator
Adecco is assisting an E-commerce client in Terrance, CA, in hiring an office administrator.
Knowledge of bookkeeping / accounting
Proven work experience as an Accounts Administrator/ Office Manager or similar role
Solid data entry skills with an ability to identify numerical errors
Strong organizational, planning, analytical and scheduling skills
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
Knowledge of accounting procedures to maintain petty cash, payroll, accounts payables and receivables
Knowledge of Excel (using financial formulas and creating spreadsheets) and QUICKBOOKS (Required)
Monitors office procedures and resolves problems through collaboration with the team, and implements changes as needed
Manages bookkeeping, including accounts payable/receivable, and data spread sheets – as well as petty cash, online credit card transactions
Manage obligations to suppliers, customers and third-party vendors
Reconcile financial statements
Prepare, send and store invoices
Contact clients and send reminders to ensure timely payments
Identify and address discrepancies
Report on the status of accounts payable and receivable
Update internal accounting databases and spreadsheets
Maintains and balances general ledger
Maintains historical records by filing documents
Coordinates with CPA
Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends
Schedules appointments and office meetings as needed
Ensures the efficient operation of all office equipment
Maintains office supply inventory, and orders supplies as needed
Prepares and completes daily outbound and inbound shipping duties
Performs other duties as needed by the company
Schedule: M-F
Payrate: 60k annually
Pay Details:
$28.85 per week
