Job Description - Accounting / Office Manager

Accounting Manager / Office Manager / HR Manager – CPA Firm – Encino, CA. $80K-$95K

Well established, highly profitable CPA / business management firm is searching for a talented Office Manager / Accounting Manager / Bookkeeper / HR professional. We provide a wide range of tax and related business services to individual and commercial clients, primarily in the entertainment industry.

Duties And Responsibilities

Proficiently process A/P, A/R, cash receipts, invoices, collections, and recording of journal entries and cash disbursements
Supervise administrative staff
Reconcile bank and broker statements
Data entry and coding of all financial transactions
Full charge bookkeeping with preparation and delivery of monthly financial statements
Generate reports and packages for tax preparation
Process payroll and reconcile annual and quarterly payroll reports
Process and prepare annual 1099’s and 1042’s
Efficiently assist in-house partners and clients and client’s representatives as needed with issues related to personal or business transactions, billing, petty cash, payroll and miscellaneous issues as they arise
Daily interaction and effective communication with staff members
Prioritizing task and understanding what is urgent
Liaison with medical insurance department to verify they have all necessary information
Other special projects as assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications include:

Education – Bachelor’s Degree or some college education
Proficiency with accounting software such as CCH, Datafaction or QuickBooks
Proficiency with Excel and Word
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Personable, positive and enthusiastic attitude to work with a variety of personalities
Proficient in overseeing multiple projects and meeting strict deadlines
Strong work ethic
