Accounting Procedure Business Analyst

Job Description:

Our client, an international investment bank in New York, NY, is looking for a Accounting Procedure Analyst to assist with the writing, updating, and maintaining of accounting policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have at least five years' experience in corporate accounting (preferably in the investment banking space), strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Job Responsibilities:

• Document accounts payable procedures through RACI charts and flow charts
• Perform operational procedures within accounting processes
• Assist in drafting accounting policies
• Project planning, including, but not limited to developing plans, resource plans, and managing project issues
• Ensure proper management of internal and external stakeholders, and maintain strong communication with key stakeholders
• Implement accounting activities

Job Requirements:

• At least 4 years of previous relative experience
• Strong ability to draft accounting procedures
• Strong excel skills
• Ability to translate assessment into written operating procedures
• Good communication skills

Compensation:

• $100,000 - $125,000
