Accounting Revenue Analyst Needed

The Accounting Revenue Analyst supports day-to-day accounting operations with a strong focus on data accuracy, organization, and ongoing financial processes. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working with data across multiple systems.

This position will play a key role in managing recurring operational tasks, supporting reconciliations, and providing insights through data analysis—particularly related to revenue streams, margin trends, and overall financial performance. The role also offers exposure to various areas of accounting operations, including revenue, payroll support, and compliance-related activities.

Responsibilities: 

Accounting Operations & Support

• Perform ongoing reconciliations across multiple revenue streams and merchant accounts. 


• Pull and organize data from various systems to ensure accuracy and consistency. 


• Support day-to-day accounting operations and assist with process improvements. 


• Provide support on ad hoc projects and operational needs across the accounting team. 

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Analyze data from multiple revenue sources to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy. 


• Assist in monitoring trends, including margin changes, residuals, and potential revenue opportunities. 


• Build and maintain reports and dashboards to support data visibility and decision-making. 


• Support reporting needs by compiling and validating data for internal stakeholders. 

Payroll & Cross-Functional Support

• Assist with payroll review to ensure accuracy and completeness. 


• Serve as a backup resource for payroll-related processes as needed. 


• Provide flexible support across the accounting team, including assisting leadership with operational priorities. 

Compliance & Administrative Support

• Assist with recurring compliance-related tasks, including sales tax support, business license renewals, and annual filings. 


• Gather, organize, and maintain data required for filings and external partners. 


• Ensure documentation is accurate, organized, and audit-ready.

Experience & Requirements:

Required:

• Brentwood, TN - based position 


• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 


• 1–3 years of experience in accounting, finance, data analysis, or a related role. 


• Advanced Excel skills (including working with large datasets, formulas, and data analysis). 


• Experience with SQL for querying and managing data. 


• Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools. 


• Highly organized with strong attention to detail. 


• Ability to manage recurring tasks and meet deadlines without direct oversight. 

Preferred:

• Exposure to accounting operations, reconciliations, or financial data analysis. 


• Experience working with multiple systems or large datasets. 


• Familiarity with accounting or financial systems.
