We’re seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to join a fast-paced, collaborative team based in Ann Arbor, MI. This role goes far beyond traditional accounting—it’s a key cross-functional position that supports both financial operations and strategic decision-making.

You’ll work closely with executive leadership and the marketing team to clean, organize, and analyze financial and operational data using NetSuite. Your ability to interpret data and deliver meaningful insights will directly impact sales strategy, reporting, and efficiency across departments.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain and optimize financial and operational data, particularly within NetSuite

• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts; investigate and resolve discrepancies

• Prepare financial documents, reports, and budgets to support leadership and marketing teams

• Analyze sales and operational data to identify trends and provide actionable insights

• Serve as a key data and financial resource across departments

• Manage communication with vendors and internal stakeholders

• Uphold accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity of financial records

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting cycles

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)

• 3+ years of accounting experience

• Hands-on NetSuite ERP experience (required)

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present financial data

• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and a process-oriented mindset

• Experience supporting or collaborating with marketing, operations, or leadership teams

• Familiarity with tools like Shopify, BI platforms, and Google Analytics is a plus
