Accounting Specialist

William Vaughan Company is helping in the search for a Accounting Specialist for an Architecture firm based in Toledo, OH. As the Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, supporting the firm's day-to-day operations and compliance requirements. Role:

• Maintain accurate financial records (AP/AR, ledgers, reconciliations)
• Assist with payroll processing and expense tracking
• Prepare monthly reports for management review
• Support audits and compliance activities
• Collaborate with team members on process improvements
• Contribute to a positive, energetic office atmosphere

Requirements:

• Education: Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Skills: Attention to detail, strong math aptitude, proficiency with Excel
• Attitude: Positive, eager to learn, team-oriented
• Experience: No prior bookkeeping required—just a passion for numbers and teamwork!
