Accounting Specialist

Beyond daily accounting tasks, the position focuses on improving process accuracy and efficiency, working closely with both local and international stakeholders.

Requirements

• Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable operations, including expenses, inventory, fixed assets, leases, and payments
  


• Perform journal entries for both domestic and international transactions
  


• Support inventory and fixed asset monitoring in collaboration with finance and business teams
  


• Review vendor registrations and ensure compliance with internal processes
  


• Contribute to process improvement initiatives, including automation and digitalization projects
  


• Partner with global IT and finance teams to enhance expense and AP workflows
  


• Support cash management activities, including fund transfers and reporting
  

Required Experience

• 2–3+ years of accounting experience
  


• Experience using ERP systems in accounting operations
  


• Basic understanding of AP processes and financial controls
  


• Intermediate Japanese and English (reading/writing, business communication)
  


• Strong Excel skills (e.g., Pivot Tables, lookup functions)
  

Preferred Experience

• Experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems
  


• Exposure to process improvement or project-based work
  


• Interest in automation or finance digitalization initiatives
  

Qualifications

• Bookkeeping Level 2 (Nissho Boki) or higher
  


• TOEIC 600+ and JLPT N2 or above
  


• CPA, Tax Accountant, or MBA is a plus
