Accounting Specialist

Position Summary:

The Accounting Specialist will provide accounting support to major financial accounting areas, including accounts payable, billing, collections, general ledger accounting, and account reconciliation.

Responsibilities:

• Provide timely and accurate payment processing by processing accounts payable checks/ACH as needed

• Input credits and debits to the accounting system in support of the payables work

• Develop and maintain reports and files on the Accounts Payable processing

• Input general ledger entries for accounting activity

• Develop and maintain reports and files on asset and liability account balances

• Support month-end close processes

• Assist in streamlining accounting processes across all business units

• Complete special projects and other responsibilities as assigned

• Ad hoc analysis as needed

Qualifications:

• In pursuit of Accounting/Finance degree

• Solid Excel skills

• Strong attention to detail

• Able to take instructions from others

• Comfortable asking questions

• Good attendance and work ethic
