Accounting specialist

As an Accounting Specialist, you'll receive hands-on training and guidance as you assist with various accounting tasks, from reconciling accounts to processing transactions.

salary: $23 - $25 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

Assist in processing accounts payable invoices, including data entry and invoice verification.
Support accounts receivable activities, such as invoicing customers and processing payments.
Assist with reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies.
General Ledger Maintenance:

Assist in maintaining the general ledger by recording journal entries and updating account balances.
Support month-end and year-end close processes by preparing reconciliations and schedules.
Financial Reporting Support:

Assist in compiling financial data and preparing reports for management review.
Assist in analyzing financial statements to identify trends and variances.
Data Entry and Documentation:

Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data by performing data entry tasks.
Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation of accounting transactions and records.
Administrative Support:

Provide general administrative support to the accounting team, such as filing documents and responding to inquiries.
Assist with special projects and initiatives as needed.
