Accounting Specialist - Hiring Urgently

We have an exciting opportunity for and Accounting Specialist to join a local manufacturing here in Chicagoland area! The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for full cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable responsibilities. The ideal candidate will incredible communication skills and be highly organized. To qualify, you must have at least 3 years of accounting experience and have intermediate MS Excel skills. This role will be on a temp to perm basis and will be onsite in Lincolnwood.
Responsibilities

• Process customer invoices
• Three-way matching
• Perform bank reconciliations
• Process credit card payments and expense payables
• Prepare accounts payable journal entries
• Customer and vendor file maintenance 
• Weekly check processing
• Prepare weekly reports on outstanding receivables
• Makes collection calls
• Research and solve payment discrepancies
• Assists in monthly closings

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of accounting experience
• Proficient with MS Office Suite
• Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables and vlookups)
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to work well on a team
• Sharp attention to detail and high level of organization

Pay Details: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour
