Accounting Specialist - Join a Market Leader

Robert Half has an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk opportunity in a stimulating work environment with a team of highly skilled professionals. Attending to the general administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department, this role works closely with and reports to the Accounting Manager. Matching and batching code, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L and processing checks are integral functions for this position. What you get to do every single day

- Support the AP/Finance Department by completing administrative tasks

- Perform daily processes and controls correctly and punctually, ensuring company policies are followed

- Complete special projects on an as-needed basis

- Assist with internal and external audits as needed

- Open, organize, and distribute department mail daily

- Organize, register, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents

- Handle the customer service needs of internal business partners

- Complete full-cycle A/P

- Validate, record and send checks, including expediting special handling- Articulate customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds

- Strong familiarity with general ledger

- Microsoft Excel experience

- Command of Code Invoices

- Accounts Payable (AP) experience

- Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases

- Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

- 2+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred

- AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
