Additional information about the company can be found at WhirlpoolCorp.com. \n\n## Accounting Technician\n\nCurrently, we are seeking qualified candidates for an Accounting Technician to join the Clyde, Ohio Manufacturing Operations.\n\n## Function Overview:\n\nThis role is a great opportunity to be part of a manufacturing facility that works toward World Class Manufacturing. The Accounting Technician will be responsible for helping drive improvement within \nour WCM Compass Room. This position reports directly to the Finance Manager. The ideal candidate for this role will actively work with the finance team as well as operations leadership to drive improvement and support the broader manufacturing operations strategy.\n\n## Job Responsibilities:\n\n\u25cf Learn about the World Class Manufacturing (WCM) experience and really dive into Cost Deployment with the Finance Team \n\u25cf Sustain and improve Internal Controls, ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies \n\u25cf Drive operational performance through robust financial analysis. \n\u25cf Work cross-functionally with the Manufacturing Team. \n\u25cf Support continuous improvement in plant financial processes, standardization and compliance. \n\u25cf Learn the plant budgets and help drive accountability and transparency.\n\n## Minimum Requirements:\n\nA Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business OR in their final year of completing a Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business\n\n## Preferred Requirements:\n\n\u25cf Experience in manufacturing accounting is a definite plus. \n\u25cf Ability to manage data to help drive clarity around results. \n\u25cf Ability to understand manufacturing operations. \n\u25cf Ability to explain financial results to a non financial audience. \n\u25cf Ability to work cross-functionally to drive alignment that is in the best interest for the company. \n\u25cf Excellent communications, analytical, planning, and teamwork skills \n\u25cf Excellent presentation skills to present operating results to various leadership teams\n\nConnect with us and learn more about Whirlpool Corporation\n\nSee what it\u0027s like to work at Whirlpool by visiting Whirlpool Careers.
