Accounts Administrator

The Accounts Administrator will be primarily responsible for providing a varied range of bookkeeping and administrative services for the charity, reporting to the Head of Finance.

Key responsibilities include: 

• Preparing deposits and general banking as needed


• Day-to-day processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions


• Assisting with bank, credit card and other reconciliations


• Providing assistance to the Head of Finance and other departments

The successful candidate will have several years’ experience in a similar role and must be honest, thorough and meticulous. They will have good communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of individuals. Experience with accounting software (Dynamics 365 or similar) is essential.

The position will suit someone with several years of experience in a busy corporate or charity environment who will be looking to work in a varied and challenging role as a valuable member of the Bermuda National Trust team. A willingness to fully participate as part of the enthusiastic team focused on delivering the Trust’s charitable mission is essential. Flexible working hours may be considered. Some weekend and evening work will be required for special events, for which time off is given in lieu.
