Accounts Payable Analyst

Job Summary:

As the Data Analyst, you'll collaborate closely with our Cash Application and AR Control teams, overseeing reconciliations, generating reports, providing EDI invoice support, troubleshooting issues, and managing online payment portal administration. You'll interact with our ERP system and other platforms, handling financial transactions in cloud-based systems.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal departments and external customers to facilitate portal access and provide necessary information for requests in our cloud-based financial Reporting Management system. Identify and address issues and errors in EDI file transmission.
• Setup and process EDI invoices accurately and promptly, resolving discrepancies.
• Execute monthly and quarterly closing activities with precision and timeliness.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for testing, supporting external teammates and suppliers, and maintaining current knowledge of assigned areas. Be prepared to fulfill other team roles as necessary.
• Work with the financial accounting team to develop Business Requirements for HANA BI reports supporting Cost Accounting, General Accounting, Accounts Payable, and Payroll teams.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Ability to make independent decisions and communicate effectively with various levels of management and field personnel.
• Proficient troubleshooting skills to address invoice discrepancies and issues, along with the capability to train others on SAP and related system tools.
• Serve as a team subject matter expert, suggesting and implementing efficiency improvements.
• Skilled in testing new applications or system upgrades.
• Comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization in-person, via email, and over the phone.
