Accounts Payable and Receivable Clerk

C.A. Russell Automotive Group is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our accounting team. This position plays a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the day-to-day accounting operations of the dealership.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  

  Process accounts payable invoices accurately and in a timely manner

  
  


• 
  

  Match invoices to purchase orders and resolve discrepancies

  
  


• 
  

  Post and reconcile accounts receivable payments from customers, lenders, and third-party vendors

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain accurate AP and AR schedules

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with month-end closing procedures

  
  


• 
  

  Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on outstanding balances or credits

  
  


• 
  

  Communicate professionally with vendors and internal departments

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies and procedures

  
  


• 
  

  Provide general accounting support as assigned

  
  

Qualifications

• 
  

  Previous experience in accounts payable and/or accounts receivable required

  
  


• 
  

  Automotive dealership accounting experience preferred

  
  


• 
  

  Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  
  


• 
  

  Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software

  
  


• 
  

  Experience with DealerTrack preferred

  
  


• 
  

  Strong written and verbal communication skills
