Accounts Payable Assistant (Hybrid) - Excellent Benefits Package

Responsibilities:

·         Process high volume Accounts Payable.

·         Research receipts and invoices to get open transactions cleared up and processed.

·         Contact vendors regarding any discrepancies.

·         Prepare manual check runs as needed.

·         Perform monthly Accounts Payable closing procedures including account reconciliations.

·         Prepare monthly AP accruals.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Some college or business education or equivalent preferred.
• Working knowledge of Colleague a plus.
• 3-4 years Accounting or Accounts Payable experience required.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong and diplomatic written/verbal communication skills required.
• Must be detail oriented and comfortable working with numbers.
• Must have the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Must be able to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
