Accounts Payable Clerk - with Growth Opportunities

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE/DEALER TRADE CLERK

Toyota of Killeen is seeking a full time clerk to join our accounting team!

Responsibilities:
* Maintain relationship with customers including vendors, suppliers, contractors, as well as other employees with in the organization.
* Process all invoices including obtaining proper approvals, coding, entering and on time payment of invoices.
* Maintain compliance with IRS for 1099 filing compliance.
* Verify vendor accounts, reconcile monthly statements.
* Protect dealership values, and maintain confidentiality.
* Process AR statements and collect inhouse accounts.
* Process, post, pay and collect delaer trades and payoff liability of unit.
* Reconcile and balance daily deposits.
* Be willing to cross train on other desk and work in a team atmosphere.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education, Experience & Qualifications:
* High School graduate or equivalent.
* 1-3 years AP/AR experience.
* Dealership Experience A PLUS!
* Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds Automotive Software helpful, but not required.
* Possess strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
* Be able to meet deadlines for time sensitive projects.
* Recognize confidential information and maintain it in accordance with standard procedures.
* Must be able to work independently and as a member of the TEAM.
* Background check, driving record and preemployment drug testing will be required for all canidates considered for this position.
