Westaff is seeking an Account Payable Office Assistant for our client in North Billerica MA!

We are looking for a temporary administrative worker who can support our client's office needs.
Main activities:
- Submit PO’s and accept shipments.
- Support payroll activities.

This is a full-time position and will start as a temporary position and could turn into a permanent position in the future.

Office Administrative Assistant
Job opportunity to assist in General Administrative Accounting and payroll functions in a manufacturing organization located in Billerica Massachusetts.

This is a front office position with visibility to managers, employees and visitors.
This position directly reports to local Human Resources and corporate HQ .
Immediate need

Hours 8:00am – 4:30pm. Monday – Friday. 1 Hour lunch 30 minutes paid.

Work week is Monday – Sunday. No overtime expected.

Ideal candidate is individual with organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with employees and customers.
Able to perform documentation, good alpha and numeric key in skills within accounting.

Experience : Minimum 1 year in accounts payable or billing. Hands on Microsoft and billing.

Responsibilities:
Perform Accounts payable, processing receipts, billing and correspondence using Microsoft suite of outlook, excel .
New accounting software NetSuite similar to Oracle.
Client Facing position
Support HR with payroll review for staff of 20 , monitor for errors and employee questions.
Assist with general phone support
