Justice Resource Institute (JRI), a leader in social justice with over 100 programs meeting the needs of underserved individuals and families throughout Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut, has a rare opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist.
The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for high-volume, full-cycle accounts payable processing while maintaining accuracy and meeting payment deadlines. Reviews and reconciles corporate credit card activity, resolves discrepancies, and maintains accurate financial records.
Compensation
The pay range for this position is $55,000 to $60,000 per year. The listed range reflects what we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for this role at the time of posting the position. The actual compensation an employee is offered may vary based on several factors such as experience, education, licensure, certifications and qualifications. This range may be modified in the future.
In this role, you will:
- Manage high-volume, full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice review, coding, approvals, data entry, and payment processing.
- Process recurring and one-time rent payments accurately and on schedule.
- Research and resolve invoice, payment, and vendor account discrepancies.
- Respond to vendor and program staff inquiries and resolve invoice and payment issues promptly.
- Review corporate credit card transactions, receipts, coding, and supporting documentation.
- Reconcile vendor statements and accounts payable records.
- Maintain accurate vendor files, payment records, and audit documentation.

Requirements:â¯
3-5 years of accounts payable experience, including high-volume, full-cycle processing.
Experience reviewing and reconciling corporate credit card transactions.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Experience with Sage is preferred.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Clear written and verbal communication skills and a professional, responsive manner.
