Accounts Payable Specialist

Overview

Coastal Waste & Recycling is experiencing explosive growth and with growth comes opportunity. We are a locally owned and operated Florida-based solid waste and recycling, hauling, and disposal company and are currently adding an Accounts Payable Specialist to help support this growth.

Responsibilities

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for the financial processing of accounts payable transactions, including:
Setting up vendor accounts in the system
Entering invoices in the accounting system for payments and ensuring correct approval, coding, and matching has occurred
Responding to vendor inquiries in a timely and professional manner
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

3 years minimum of A/P experience
Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables & Vlookups)
Attention to detail & accuracy
Reconciliation skills
Strong understanding of purchase orders and vendor management
Familiarity with Sage & Coupa a bonus!
